1. 18" - 2' suitable for Starters - Green
2. 2'- 2'8" suitable for Advanced Green - Beginner Novice
3. 2'6"- 2'11" suitable for Max Beginner Novice - Novice
4. 2'11" - 3'3" suitable for Max Novice -Training
- A short course of series of jumping efforts (straight & bending lines, combinations of different strides, turning both directions). Expect some gymnastics work.
- Each rider/horse will be assigned 25 minutes.
1. Each rider will first ride a course or series of fences
2.Brian will discuss the ride and practice specific parts of the course with the rider
3.The rider will ride the course or parts of the course again.
1. All Fix a Jump = $45.00. May ride more than one horse, may sign up for more than one ride, IF time available. If a waiting list, rider will be assigned only the one time slot.
2. 1 time slot available on Saturday. First entry in and paid for holds available slot. Scratches will be filled from the waiting list.
3. Select desired height of jump on entry form.
4. Times will be available: via the link above, on the evening of Feb. 20, updated nightly.
5. Directions:From I 64 take Crozet exit (107), go east on Rt 250 towards Charlottesville and Crozet, go straight through traffic lights (do not turn left at light onto Rt 240). Continue for approx 5 miles turn left on Rt 240 (just past the overhead railroad trestle). At the yield sign, Browns Gap Turnpike Rt 680 will be across the intersection. Follow Browns Gap Turnpike for approx 2.3 miles make a right onto Cannon Brook Way. Toad Hollow is 2nd driveway on the right.
From Ivy take RT 250W, bear right onto Rt 240-make immediate right on Browns Gap Turnpike. Same as above.
From Charlottesville, take Barracks Road continue to Whitehall, left on Rt 810 towards Crozet make 1st left onto Browns Gap Turnpike Rt 680, follow for approx 1.7 miles make left on Cannon?Brook Way. Same as above.
8. Dress: casual, must be neat and tidy with boots, breeches ASTM approved hardhat & medical arm band.
9. All Dogs must be on leash.
10. Draw Checks: VEEC - TH
11. Lunch: Tomato Soup and Toasted Cheese sandwiches, I'll be the cook!
